After learning that his mother, Catherine, has been hospitalized, Thomas decides to go back to their farmland in France. Upon arriving at his childhood home, he meets his deceased brother's family: the vibrant Mona, his girlfriend, and 6-year-old Alex, his son. Soon enough, he learns the truth about his brother's death. Tensions also arise between him and his father, Michel, as old wounds resurface.
