It Came From Outer Space

Jack Arnold's science fiction classic It Came From Outer Space comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible and the soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by film historian Tom Weaver, a documentary about the making of the film, still photos, posters, production notes, and the theatrical trailer. This is a very entertaining disc from Universal Studios that should have broad appeal beyond just genre enthusiasts.
