This dance duo loads its debut album with plenty of flash from the techno guidebook. That means many squealing synths and heightened emotional release are on display. It also means there isn't much going on beneath the glitzy surface. "U R the Best Thing" was a club hit, and it's the only reason to hear this unremarkable album. ~ Michael Gallucci
